The Magic Hour occurs twice each day—when the sun is 6 degrees above the horizon or 6 degrees below the horizon—and lasts for about 1 hour. For photographers, this specific time can be ideal for matching hues and colors of light.
Join us for this fun workshop and learn the pros and cons of smartphone photography. Maximize the options of your smartphone's camera and built-in editing tools to turn your photos into professional looking shots. Participants will have the opportunity to use point-and-shoot cameras and digital-single lens reflex cameras (DSLRs). The class will expose you to key technical skills with lighting and framing, how to apply the principles of photographic composition and tip and resources for photo editing so that you can post and share your photos with confidence.
Attendees will learn how to create collage or artwork projects with their photos and will be encouraged to share their projects via a site created specifically for Great Shot participants.
