ART CAMP is a yearly opportunity for children to spend time emerged in art. ART CAMP is open to students entering Grade 1 through Grade 5 and open to both residents and non-residents. Registration open May 22 through the Tipp Monroe Community Services website. Space is limited, so register early. (See link below.)
The 2024 ART CAMP—Art with the Masters will introduce students to masters including Piet Mondrian, Henri Matisse, Wassily Kandinsky, Romero Britto, Yoyoi Kusama, Mary Blair, Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, as they create hands-on projects using these artists techniques. Projects will include suncatchers, cut-outs, paintings, paper plate flowers, pop-art and a group mosaic project.
Students should wear clothing that can be used for painting and other art activities. Students should also bring a sack lunch and water bottle each day.

Prathyaksha (Prathya) Krishna Prasad will be this year’s Art Camp Director. As a two year TCAAC board member, architect, artist, and recent graduate of a Masters in Art Education, Prathya brings her enthusiasm and love of art to the children.
