Mattison Kay is a 19-year-old local artist with a passion for exploring many different forms of art, She enjoys working in digital, watercolor, pencil, oil pastels and loves switching between mediums to keep her creativity fresh and growing. Mattison has admired comic art since she was little and was mesmerized by illustrations that she saw in DC Comics. This style continues to inspire much of her work today.
Her biggest motivation as an artist is to spread joy, and she truly feels that creating art is her calling in life. Mattison is entirely self-taught, which has allowed her to develop her own voice and perspective as an artist. She is enthusiastic about sharing her art and connecting with others through it.
